There are three parts of the Niagara Falls and Horseshoe Falls is without a doubt one of the most famous waterfalls in the world. 188 feet tall and approximately 2,600 feet wide, it is more than twice the size of the popular American Falls. There is a lovely walkway that takes visitors along the edge of the gorge which offers magnificent views. If you wish to cross the Rainbow Bridge to the US side of the falls, you will have to pay a nominal fee.

It begins at the Table Rock Welcome Centre from where you can take the elevator which takes you 150 feet down to the observation decks. The views from these decks offer a completely different experience than viewing Niagara Falls from above. If you wish to avoid large crowds of visitors, visit early in the morning as a part of a guided tour group.
